Hi! I am Sai Ram Kasanagottu, a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Stony Brook University, working in the Knowledge Systems & IRSL Lab. My research focuses on autonomous navigation, robotic manipulation, and deep learning.

Prior to beginning my PhD, I gathered extensive industry experience working at the intersections of computer vision, NLP, and machine learning. I served as a Technical Lead Engineer at Saama Technologies and as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at DisplaySweet in Australia. Additionally, I acquired my Master’s at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, focusing on reusable and compact deep CNN models.

I’m particularly interested in enhancing autonomous intelligence for embodied agents, spatial analysis, and robotics. Check my CV above for a more complete picture of my work experience and publications!
